Not too late to get involved in Candle Ends 2010
Hello Internet Cupcakes,
We have received a great number to emails, phone calls, txt messages, carrier pigeons, freight mail and Morse code telegrams from wonderful performing artists all over Melbourne who are going to be part of Candle Ends 2010. This years festivals looks to be shaping up to be something special indeed.
We have storytellers, monologues, short plays, conversations, digital projections, short film and many more soon to be announced performance gems.
If you haven't contacted me about your interest in performing have no fear, we still have plenty of space for you! Email, txt or call me about your ideas… as long as the performance is under 20 min your in! You can perform the same piece over all 4 nights, develop over each sequential night, perform only once or twice, the choice is yours just let me know.
As we are getting closer to joyous Festival time I'm going to have to put a deadline on submitting interest in being part of the glories that is Candle Ends. Email me your ideas by Sunday the 16th May so I can start locking in details.
So get those thinking caps out and get involved

Hi all,
We have the dates for Candle Ends Mark 2...this mini festival will be happening over 23rd -26th June.We are looking for performers to do their thing on either one, some or all of these nights, here's the deal...
When... Performances 23rd - 26th June, doors opening at 6.30pm performances starting at 7pm Set up 20th -22nd June Bump out 26th - 27th June Where... Brunswick Arts Space 2a Little Breese street Brunswick
How... email me your interest in performing, the more the merrier, and I'll keep you in the loop about meetings, setup, rehersals and what not
Who/What...Anyone who makes performance based artwork, you can tell a story, read a poem, perform a short play or anything performanced based. Performances must be between 1 and 20 min long
Why...We never really need a reason to perform do we, but...this mini fest is an attept to create a platform for performing artsist to experiment, develop or play with ideas. We have set the festival before Melbourne Fringe so performers can test out ideas or just try something you've always wanted to do.
