Things are starting to stir, exciting plans are being formulated and 2011 Candle Ends is looking to be totally awesome, of course. Exciting things include a grant from R.M.I.T Union Arts! And lots of great performers doing exciting fun performancey things!

and that's a wrap
Candle Ends 2010 is a wrap. The lights have been turned off, the sets and props packed away, the beer and wine been drunk and the walls of Brunswick Arts repainted ready for the next exhibition. Thank you to everyone who participated and made this year’s Candle Ends the best yet!
I'll be posing some of the photographs I took during the festival on this blog and will add a link to the professional shots taken by the wonderful Laurence Barns once they are uploaded to flickr. Thanks again to all you wonderful Candle Enders, you rock sticks!!

And Their Off!!!
Last night's opening night was a wonderful success. Thank you to all who braved the cold weather to fill Brunswick Arts Space with warm hearted glee. Poets poeted, monologuers monologued, actors acted, musicians musiked, dancers danced up a storm and the audience lapped it al up.
Tonight promises to be just as fantastic with the addition of Born in a Taxi, Penny Baron and Aniko Hazi to our set list .
Come one, come all to tonight's Candle Ends, doors open at 6.30pm, Brunswick Arts Space 2a Little Breese Street, Brunswick, $15/$10
Right, I'm off to the op shop to buy warm blankets and cushions for you lovely audience members so you don't get cold tushies :)
